O'Flaherty Events was established in 2002 to organise and co-ordinate a reunion for former Disneyland Resort Paris Cast Members, who would travel throughout the UK by coach and stop and stay at landmark cities such as London, Manchester, Liverpool Edinburgh and Dublin.  A brochure was produced detailing which hotels had been secured as well as to which locations would be visited and everything (except meals) was included in the price.  The tour was planned for the summer of 2004.

Ghost Chasers, a non-profit subsidiary of O'Flaherty Events, was launched in November 2004 to raise money for BBC Children In Need Appeal by staying overnight at Fort Paull, which up to this point had never been investigated for paranormal activity.  One again we secured the venue, issue press releases and ensured everyone involved had the appropriate security identification should any personnel connected to the venue wanted to ensure we were who we said we were and were part of the investigative team.  That was to be it - a one time event - however Ghost Chasers became more and more popular and to date over 1,000 people have attended one of their investigations over the previous ten years and they still hold regular investigations in Kingston Upon Hull.

In order to produce and edit the footage the team film for DVD, ME Productions, another subsidiary, was set-up and for the first few investigations a DVD was included within the cost of attending a paranormal investigation, however this is no longer the case due to cost restraints.  ME Productions continues to edit the teams footage and indeed now produces and designs websites at a competitive cost and one of their most recent clients has been the Admiral Guest House which has seen an increased number of guests and enquiries.

Recently O'Flaherty Events have been working with Dove House Hospice in order to raise awareness and funds for the only Hospice in the region of Hull and we did this by working with other companies nationally as we celebrated 50 years of Doctor Who by holding a stall selling cakes, hot drinks, confectionary and novelty goods.  In addition to this we were joined by three actors from the series, Sarah Louise Madison (Weeping Angel), Matthew Doman (Cyberman) and  Sean Knopp (Paul the Monk) who were more than happy to meet and greet fans as well as sign memorabilia.  Over £600 was raised on this one day which was held at Hull Paragon Station, an unusual location for an unusual event.  You can see more images from the event in our experience page.
